This WiFi camera works on a 2.4GHz wireless network. The device does not yet support the 5GHz wireless network. Please ensure the WiFi authentication method to WPA2-PSK or any other lower level of security. A password is required for additional security.
It sure will! Once the camera is set up, if a Micro SD Card is inserted, it can record videos even without an internet connection.
An internet connection is only required if the footage needs to be accessed remotely via the app.
