  • Is the Atlas safe in very hot climates like Texas or Arizona?

    Yes. Many Nestera coops are used successfully in regions where summer temperatures regularly exceed 100°F. The key is placement: the coop should always be positioned in shade during hot weather. The 6mm UV-resistant roof reflects sun effectively, and the adjustable ventilation system keeps air moving above your hens' heads — preventing heat buildup inside the coop.

    Most customers assemble the Atlas in well under two hours. No special tools or DIY expertise required. Every coop ships with a clear illustrated assembly guide, and all parts are numbered. If anything is missing or damaged, contact us and we'll ship replacements immediately.

  • Is the Atlas truly red mite-proof?

    Nothing is 100% red mite-proof — but the Atlas is as close as it gets. The seamless recycled plastic panels give mites no cracks, joints, or porous surfaces to nest in. Combined with an easy hose-down clean, infestations become far easier to prevent and eliminate compared to any wooden coop.

  • Does the color fade over time?
